Our Mission

Democratizing Neuroimaging

Numerous countries lack the ability to access cheap, fast, and accurate brain imaging (if they even have imaging at all). At QMorphix, we aim to change that.

The Process

We are attempting to decrease the magnitude of the magnetic field used in current imaging technology. We aim to do this by decreasing the amount of information needed per scan through the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and quantum computing. A lower magnetic field means that MRIs will now be safer, gain portability, and with AI and machine learning technology, not be forced to play the trade-off game with higher-resolution without portability vs lower-resolution and portable.

Our Technology

Artificial Intelligence

At QMorphix, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) drive the core of our fast MRI platform. AI enables our system to recognize patterns in raw imaging data, while ML allows it to continuously improve by learning from thousands of scans. Running on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, our models use advanced algorithms to reduce noise, sharpen detail, and accelerate reconstruction times—bringing MRI scans down to just minutes. This combination ensures images are not only faster to acquire, but also clearer and more consistent across different patients and conditions.

Quantum Computing

Quantum computing gives QMorphix the ability to tackle MRI reconstruction challenges beyond the reach of traditional methods. Unlike classical processors, which handle data step by step, quantum computers use qubits and superposition to evaluate vast possibilities simultaneously. This parallelism makes them especially powerful for solving the complex mathematical problems behind medical imaging. IBM Qiskit is an open-source software development kit that allows us to build, simulate, and test quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware and high-performance simulators. By using Qiskit, we design algorithms that streamline MRI data reconstruction, reduce scan acquisition times, and optimize image clarity. As quantum technology matures, QMorphix is positioned to translate these breakthroughs directly into faster, more efficient, and clinically valuable MRI solutions.

Hardware

QMorphix develops advanced MRI hardware with a focus on accessibility and performance. Our radiofrequency coils are engineered for maximum signal sensitivity, enabling high-quality data capture even in portable systems. We specialize in low-field imaging—MRI performed at lower magnetic field strengths than traditional 1.5T or 3T scanners—which reduces cost, power requirements, and installation barriers while maintaining clinically valuable resolution. To complement this, we design optimized pulse sequences that improve signal-to-noise ratio and reconstruction quality, ensuring sharper images for conditions such as stroke and dementia. By combining custom hardware design with domain expertise in magnetic resonance physics, QMorphix is building scalable MRI solutions that can be deployed in diverse clinical and research environments worldwide.
